Effective September 26, 2026
In short: no accounts, no names, no cookies, no ads, no selling of data. We keep a pseudonymous record of searches for up to 13 months to run the service and stop abuse.
Choicely Kids is operated by Choicely. It answers searches for children's activities made through AI assistants (such as Muse), our web API and this website. Contact: support@choicely.ai.
We do not collect names, email addresses (unless you write to us), precise location, contacts or payment information, and we don't use cookies, advertising or analytics trackers.
When you use us through an AI assistant, we receive only the search the assistant sends - not your conversation, account or identity. What the assistant itself collects is governed by its provider's privacy policy (for Muse, Meta's).
To answer searches; to operate, secure and debug the service; to enforce our terms, including detecting bulk copying; to understand, in aggregate, what parents look for so we can improve coverage; and to respond to you.
We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Search, click and security records: up to 13 months, then deleted automatically. Hosting logs: about 30 days. Emails: as long as needed to handle your request.
Data is encrypted in transit and stored with our providers; the service reaches the database through a restricted account that can only run a fixed set of queries. No system is perfectly secure.
The service is for parents, guardians and other adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. A child's age in years, given as a search filter, is not linked to any identity. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live - for example under the California Consumer Privacy Act - you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to have it deleted or corrected, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. We don't sell or share personal information, or use sensitive personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. To make a request, email support@choicely.ai; an authorized agent may also do so for you. Because we keep only a one-way hash of network addresses, we may need your IP address at the time of use to find any records, and may be unable to link records to you.
We don't track you across other websites or services, so we treat all requests the same whether or not a "Do Not Track" signal is sent.
We will post any update here with a new effective date, and note material changes at the top of this page for at least 30 days.
